Added 11/16/11
Question: Are the students expected to know about dynamics/physics related to double star systems?
Answer: No ... the students will not have to know about the dynamics/physics related to double star systems.

Question: Sample Performance Tasks a, it says "Given the properties and/or spectra of stars and deep sky objects, participants will identify their proper placement on an HR diagram."   Are students expected to memorize/recognize stars by spectra (diagram of intensity by wavelength)? Or by spectral type, e.g., O, B, A, F, G, K, M?
Answer: Students will be expected to recognize stars by their spectral types (O,B,A,F,G,K, M), not by their spectra.
