CRIME BUSTERS - Division B
Teams will identify the perpetrators of a crime or crimes by using paper chromatography and analysis of unknown solids, liquids, and plastics found at the scene of a crime.

Mixture samples - the components of the mixture may not be represented elsewhere in the test as single samples.
Bring something to mix on: spot plates, little fast food sauce containers, test tubes - something.
Do NOT use your hands.
Bring something to scoop with: toothpicks, chemical spatulas, coffee stirrers.
Recommend tweezers for the flame test of a fiber. Also a magnet.
